Huaka‘i: A New Voyage
Lū‘au Dinner Show Fundraiser

Embark on a Huaka’i (voyage) through Polynesia with us! Join the cultural practitioners of Hālau Hula 'O Kalikopuakalehua as they take you on a journey across the islands of Polynesia through song and dance. Your support will help fundraise for their participation in the prestigious Kumukahi hula competition, where they’ll compete against groups from around the world.
Additionally, our student group, Hālau Ho'okahi I Ka Hula, is raising funds for materials and costumes for their upcoming performance at the 2026 Aloha Festival.
Come celebrate, support, and be a part of these meaningful cultural endeavors!
Being that the competition is for hula, the focus in the dinner show will be the islands of Hawai’i. However, their voyage will take you to the other Polynesian islands, as well.
We will have amazing silent auction and raffle items, authentic Hawaiian cuisine (including traditional kālua pig), soothing entertainment by our musicians, the budding dancers of Hālau Ho’okahi I Ka Hula and more.
